About the Owner

Rebecca Leal Behnke
Granddaughter of Ruben & Elvira Leal
(Founders of Dallas Tortilla & Tamale Factory)

Rebecca opened her franchise of the famous local chain in March 2002.  With the help of her husband, mother and father, Ruben Leal, and even her children. She renovated a small space in Old Town Lewisville to serve the wonderful, loyal customer of Dallas Tortilla & Tamale Factory who live north of Downtown Dallas.
